About Us
The Uniacke Dog Sport Club (UDSC) is a not-for-profit organization registered under the Societies Act of Nova Scotia. It operates out of Mount Uniacke and promotes dog sport and performance activities by providing a training venue (MacKenzie Centre), commonly referenced as “The Barn” for its members. The Barn is also approved to host AAC and UKI agility trials.
UDSC is governed by a Board of Directors that oversees facility operations and maintenance and is committed to provide access to both rental and open member time to all members
MEMBERSHIP PROVIDES

A commitment from the BoD to provide better access to booking and open member time to all members. The BoD will periodically review member times (both booking and drop-in) and adjust as required.

Discount on rental fees

Members may use the barn (OPEN/Drop In times) anytime it is not rented at no additional cost. Guidelines for members using open member times are posted in the UDSC member facebook group.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIRES

Volunteer commitment to help keep the barn financially viable in order to support the reasonable fees and increased access for members.

The provision of “services” as they arise to aid in the general day-to-day running of the building. Members are to notify the BoD of issues that arise with an eye to assisting in the fix or suggestions for a fix.

Members must join the UDSC member facebook group in order to receive updates and messages that apply to all members.
